Shaykh Mehmet Usta

Sheikh Mehmet Usta is the founder of i3 Institute and Toledo Foundation and has been teaching Islamic knowledge for over two decades. Sheikh Usta has studied under 11 prominent scholars and holds a Bachelors in Computer Science, Arabic and Islamic Studies. He also holds a Masters in Business Administration and is completing his second Masters in Islamic Studies. Sheikh Usta is also the resident scholar and director of religious affairs at WMCC and is passionate about helping all Muslim communities thrive. He has conducted many lectures and khutbahs in numerous MSAs and masājid across various cities in Canada.

Mufti Yahya Momla

Mufti Yahya Momla is a local imam at Masjid As-Salaam in Burnaby and also practices as a professional mediator. He has completed his formal Islamic studies in India, specializing in advanced Islamic Jurisprudence (Fiqh) and was the former imam of Masjid ut Taqwa and Madinah Masjid in Toronto. Mufti Yahya now gives lectures in different Masjids, MSAs, and institutions, and helps individuals, couples, families, and colleagues manage conflict through his consulting and mediation services.

Mufti Muhammad Shujaath Ali Nadwi

Mufti Muhammad Shujaat Ali Nadwi is the imam of Masjid ul Haqq in Vancouver and has been a community leader and teacher for over a decade in the Lower Mainland. He got his bachelor’s degree in Islamic sciences and master’s degree in Islamic jurisprudence from renowned Islamic institutions in India. Mufti Shujaath is part of numerous religious committees, including the religious board of the British Columbia Muslim Association (BCMA) and the Muslim, Christian and Jewish Triologue committee. He gives lectures and halaqat on various topics throughout the Lower Mainland and was nominated as Ambassador for peace by the universal peace federation in 2006.
